715 am akdt Fri Sep 4 2015

... The Flood Advisory remains in effect until 145 PM akdt Friday for
low-lying areas around Kenai Lake including the Primrose
campground...

At 700 am akdt... water levels on the snow river and Kenai Lake are
dropping... however there is likely still some water covering the
Road to Primrose campground and other low-lying areas at this time.
Conditions will improve throughout the day as water levels continue
to drop.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Most flood deaths occur in automobiles. Never drive your vehicle into
areas where the water covers the roadway. Flood waters are usually
deeper than they appear. Just one foot of flowing water is powerful
enough to sweep vehicles off the Road. When encountering flooded
roads make the smart choice... turn around... dont drown.
