... Wind Advisory in effect from 1 am to 8 am PST Monday...

The National Weather Service in Spokane has issued a Wind
Advisory... which is in effect from 1 am to 8 am PST Monday.

* Winds... localized west winds gusting between 40 and 50 mph.

* Timing... winds over the Cascade mountains will increase
overnight and peak during the early morning hours on Monday. If
mountain wave winds occur in The Lowlands... they will occur
between 1 am and 8 am.

* Impacts... mountain wave wind gusts can be highly localized and
erratic. Many areas around Wenatchee... Chelan... and Waterville
may not experience winds greater than 15 mph while other nearby
areas could receive brief wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph.

* Locations... elevations above 2000 feet around Wenatchee...
Chelan... Waterville... and Mansfield will be the most
susceptible to strong winds during late tonight and Monday
morning.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that wind gusts to 45 mph will be possible.
Winds this strong can produce minor tree damage and cause
localized power outages.
