November was a relatively cool and dry month for Medford. Although the month started out mild with high temperatures reaching the low to mid 60s at times during the first week... the remainder of the month turned considerably cooler as low clouds and dense fog often limited high temperatures to only the 40s. A series of storm systems brought occasional wind and some rain most days from the 5th through the 13th. The 14th through the 19th was dry except for a brief period of rain on the 17th. Another storm system produced 0.42 inches of rain from the 20th through the 22nd. With the exception of a fast-moving storm system that left a bit of rain from the 26th into the 27th... the remainder of November was dry as strong high pressure dominated over the area.
The average temperature for the month of November was 42.5 degrees, which was 1.4 degrees below normal. The average maximum temperature was 51.1 degrees or 1.7 degrees below normal. The average minimum temperature was 33.9 degrees, which was 1.1 degrees below normal. The highest temperature for the month was 66 degrees, which occurred on the 4th. The lowest temperature for the month was 26, which occurred on the 30th.
