* Temperature: high temperatures 100 to 110 with overnight lows
65 to 70.

* Locations include: Grants Pass... Cave Junction... Medford...
Ashland... Etna... Fort Jones... Greenview... Yreka... Weed.

* Impacts: there is higher risk for heat exhaustion and heat
stroke. Those who are elderly... sick... or Young are more
susceptible to heat related illnesses.

The National Weather Service in Medford has issued a Fire Weather
Watch... which is in effect from Saturday evening through Sunday
evening.

* Affected area: fire weather zones 281... 624... 285... 284... 625
and 280

* thunderstorms... isolated thunderstorms Saturday afternoon may
increase to scattered coverage Saturday evening... then continue
overnight and into early Sunday morning. Scattered thunderstorms
are possible again Sunday afternoon and evening.

* Outflow winds... wind gusts of 30 to 40 mph are possible.

* Impacts... thunderstorms are expected to produce abundant
lighting... and dry lightning will be possible outside of the wet
cores. Multiple new fire starts from lightning strikes could
pose a threat to life and property... and may overwhelm initial
attack resources.
