Wind Advisory
Issued: 12:56 PM PST Feb. 7, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Wind Advisory remains in effect until 4 PM PST Monday...

* winds... east to northeast 30 to 40 mph with gusts 50 to 55 mph.
Locally higher gusts are likely on and immediately below the
most wind-prone coastal slopes.

* Timing... winds increasing this evening and overnight... peaking
early Monday morning... then weakening into Tuesday.

* Location... along the coastal mountain slopes and foothills...
and below favored passes and canyons.

* Visibility... locally reduced in blowing dust.

* Impacts... strong cross winds will be a potential hazard for
high profile vehicles. Broken tree limbs and other debris will
be possible.

* Outlook... winds will weaken Monday evening... but may remain near
advisory strength in some wind-prone areas into Tuesday morning.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 35 mph are expected. Winds
this strong can make driving difficult... especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
