... Winter Storm Warning now in effect until 11 am MST this
morning...

The Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow is now in effect until 11
am MST this morning.

* Snow accumulations... additional accumulations of 2 to 5 inches
through this morning. Storm total accumulations since Friday
morning will average 5 to 12 inches.

* Timing... periodic snow heavy at times will continue through the
late morning before moderating temperatures result in rising
snow levels by midday.

* Winds... significant winds are not expected.

* Snow levels... temperatures will be cold enough for snow at all
locations during the morning hours.

* Local impacts... treacherous travel conditions are ongoing due
to snow covered and icy roads and reduced visibility in
falling snow. Do not travel unless absolutely necessary within
the Albuquerque Metro area. This includes Interstate 25 and
Interstate 40.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means severe winter weather
conditions are expected or occurring. Significant amounts of snow
are forecast that will make travel dangerous. Only travel in an
emergency. If you must travel... keep an extra flashlight... food...
and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
