... The Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until 700 PM MST for
central Navajo County...

At 514 PM MST... Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
moderate rain across the warned area which is about 20 miles
northeast of Winslow.

This includes the following streams and drainages... Cottonwood
Wash to its confluence with the Little Colorado River.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Move to higher ground now. Act quickly to protect your life.

Turn around... dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

The National Weather Service in Flagstaff has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
southeastern Navajo County in northeastern Arizona...
west central Apache County in northeastern Arizona...

* until 730 PM MST

* at 431 PM MST... Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Up to two inches of rain have
already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

This includes the following streams and drainages... Oso Draw... Hay
Hollow Draw and Cheney Draw.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Move to higher ground now. Act quickly to protect your life.

Turn around... dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in automobiles. Never drive your vehicle into areas
where the water covers the roadway. Flood waters are usually deeper
than they appear. Just one foot of flowing water is powerful enough
to sweep vehicles off the Road.

* small stream Flood Advisory for...
central Gila County in east central Arizona...
southeastern Coconino County in north central Arizona...
southwestern Navajo County in northeastern Arizona...

* until 530 PM MST

* at 225 PM MST... Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms in an area about 20 miles southwest of Heber-
Overgaard. Up to two inches of rain have already fallen and will
cause small stream flooding. Most of this water will flow
southward into Canyon Creek.

* Flooding will remain over mainly rural areas of central Gila...
southeastern Coconino and southwestern Navajo counties.

This includes the following streams and drainages... Oak Creek...
Spring Creek... Canyon creek... Carrizo creek... Salt Creek... Cibecue
Creek... Bear Creek and Foot Canyon.
