northeastern Pima County in southeastern Arizona...

* until 745 PM MST

* at 538 PM MST... Doppler radar indicated a thunderstorm producing
heavy rain and likely flash flooding across central and eastern
Tucson. This expands and replaces the Flash Flood Warning in effect
for southwest Tucson.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Tucson...
Drexel Heights... Casas Adobes... Valencia west... Tucson
Estates... South Tucson... Catalina Foothills... San Xavier
mission... Davis-monthan Air Force base and Tucson International
Airport.

south central Pima County in southeastern Arizona...

* until 700 PM MST

* at 500 PM MST... Doppler radar indicated heavy rain fell in the
Fresnal Canyon area. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Fresnal
Canyon... Topawa and South Komelik. Flash flooding of washes that
flow west across Route 19 is likely. These washes will flow west
to the Vamori wash.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of washes
and streams... roads... as well as other drainage areas and low lying
spots.

Valley... along Arivaca Road northeast of Arivaca... and along
Highway 286 south of Three Points. Flash flooding is expected to
begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Green
Valley... Arivaca Road... and Highway 286.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around... don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* at 624 PM MST... Doppler radar indicated heavy rain along Highway
286 from the Junction of Arivaca Road southward to the
international border. Heavy rain also fell near San Miguel and
Hashan Chuchg. Flash flooding is expected.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include..Route 19
from Choulic to the international border and Highway 286 from
the Junction of Arivaca Road southward.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of washes
and streams... urban areas... highways... streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.

The National Weather Service in Tucson has issued a

* small stream Flood Advisory for...
northwestern Pima County in southeastern Arizona...

* until 745 PM MST

* at 537 PM MST... Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due Toa cluster
of thunderstorms that extend from GU Vo to Hickiwan. Radar
rainfall estimates indicate that amounts in excess of 1.5 inches
have likely fallen with these storms. This will cause small stream
flooding for San Simon and Santa Rosa washes.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Kuakatch... San Simon Village... GU Vo... Hickiwan... Pia Oik and Vaya
Chin.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of washes
and streams... as well as farm and country roads. Do not attempt to
travel across flooded roads. Find alternate routes.

Do not drive your vehicle into areas where the water covers the
roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross
safely.
