Nowcast | as of 6:34 PM MDT on August 3, 2015

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue over portions of central and southern Utah into the early evening. The strongest storms at 630 PM were located along Interstate 70 near the town of Sevier...and approaching the northern portions of Lake Powell between Bullfrog and Hite Marina. Boaters on that area of Lake Powell should seek shelter onshore until the storms pass. Locally heavy rain...hail...dangerous lightning and gusty winds will accompany the stronger storms.
