A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 1 am PST Monday.
3 to 6 inches of snow is expected to fall over the St Maries area
and throughout the Silver Valley area today and this evening. 6 to
10 inches of snow is expected to fall over the surrounding
mountains.
Areas of blowing snow are also expected as southwest winds
increase to 30 to 40 mph by late this morning and continue into
the early evening. This will result in areas of blowing and
drifting snow over the mountains. Wind speeds over the valleys
will be significantly lighter.

A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means significant amounts
of snow are expected or occurring. Snow accumulations will make
travel very hazardous or impossible.
