Warnings and Notices

	Winter Storm Warning
Statement as of 11:52 AM MST on November 21, 2009 ... Winter Storm Warning in effect from 5 am to 5 PM MST Sunday... The National Weather Service in Pocatello has issued a Winter Storm Warning for snow and blowing snow... which is in effect from 5 am to 5 PM MST Sunday. A Pacific storm system will spread into the central Idaho mountains late tonight and Sunday morning. Storm total snowfall of up to 10 inches is expected in the mountains with 3 to 6 inches possible in the valleys. Brisk west winds will also accompany the storm producing areas of blowing and drifting snow with visibility reduced to 1/4 mile or less at times. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow are expected. Strong winds are also possible. This will make travel very hazardous or impossible.
