Special Statement
Statement as of 1:53 AM MST on March 02, 2015

A change to wintry and much colder conditions are expected
tonight and Tuesday. Some snow will first move into southwest and
southern Wyoming... including Sublette and southern Lincoln
counties... as a storm system moves across Colorado this afternoon.
A second... much colder system will then move in from the north
this evening. Temperatures will drop rapidly behind a cold front
as it tracks south through the state. Periods of gusty wind and
light to moderate snow will blanket the area tonight and Tuesday.
Most valleys and basins across western Wyoming will accumulate
less than 2 inches of new snow... with around 6 inches of new snow
expected in the mountains. Gusty winds will create areas of
blowing and drifting snow... especially on mountain passes... along
with low wind chills dipping well below zero. The snow will clear
from north to south late Tuesday with a very cold night expected
Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.
