Fire Weather Warning
Statement as of 9:00 PM MDT on August 30, 2015

... Red flag warning remains in effect until 3 am MDT Monday for
gusty wind and cold frontal passage around midnight...

* wind... southwest 15 to 25 mph ahead of the front. The wind will
shift to the north around midnight as the main frontal surge
moves across the zone. North winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts 40
to 45 mph are likely... especially in the northern- third of the
zone around Buffalo and the Interstate 90 corridor.

* Impacts... any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
Outdoor burning is not recommended and campfires need to be
out cold.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now... or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds... low relative humidity... and warm temperatures will
create extreme fire behavior.
