At 1222 PM MDT... Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm
near Sweetwater County Airport... which is near Rock Springs... moving
northeast at 45 mph.

Pea sized hail... frequent lightning... brief heavy rain... and winds
in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm.

This strong thunderstorm will be near...
Sweetwater County Airport around 1225 PM MDT.
Superior around 1240 PM MDT.

for gusty wind... low humidity... hot temperatures... and a Haines
index of 6...

* wind... southwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts increasing to around 35
mph by 1800... especially in zones 280... 289... and 300.

* Maximum temperatures... 88 to 93.

* Humidity... 11 to 15 percent.

* Haines index... 6.

* Thunderstorms... isolated to widely scattered dry thunderstorms.

* Impacts... any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
Outdoor burning is not recommended and campfires need to be
out cold.
