... Winter Weather Advisory now in effect until 8 am MST Monday...

* timing... snow will continue tonight... with the heaviest during the
evening hours. The snow is expected to gradually decrease
through Monday morning.

* Snow accumulations... 4 to 8 inches with the bulk of the snow
accumulation by around midnight tonight.

* Wind/visibility... west 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 60 mph or more

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving. Before heading into the high country... pack extra winter
gear in your vehicle such as gloves... hats... spare socks... a
blanket or two... a collapsible snow shovel... a sack of rock salt
or sand... an ice scraper... a flash light with extra batteries...
Snacks and water.
