Winter Weather Advisory
Statement as of 6:07 PM MST on March 03, 2015

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 5 am MST
Wednesday...

* timing... snow will continue to develop through the evening
hours. A few showers may produce brief heavy snow. The snow
will gradually diminish in the Denver area after midnight...
but snow may linger on the Palmer Divide into the early
morning hours Wednesday.

* Snow accumulations... 2 to 5 inches... heaviest near the
foothills.

* Wind/visibility... north winds at 10 to 20 mph are expected
behind a cold front this evening. The heavier snow may reduce
visibility to a quarter mile or less for a brief time this
evening.

* Impacts... roads will become snowpacked and icy as snow increases
this evening.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
