The National Weather Service in Austin San Antonio has issued a
* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
north central Bexar County...
* until 645 PM CDT.
* At 617 PM CDT... NWS meteorologists have detected a severe
thunderstorm capable of producing damaging winds in excess of 60
mph. This storm was located near the dominion... or 13 miles
southeast of Boerne... and moving west at 5 mph.
* Some locations in the warning include Cross Mountain.

At 558 PM CDT... National Weather Service meteorologists detected
strong thunderstorms along a line extending from timberwood park to
Boerne... and Leon Springs... moving southeast at 5 mph.
Wind gusts up to 50 mph are expected with these storms... along with
frequent dangerous lightning.
