... Flash Flood Watch in effect through Wednesday morning...

The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a

* Flash Flood Watch for a portion of north central Texas...
including the following counties... Cooke... Eastland... Jack...
Montague... Palo Pinto... Stephens... wise and Young.

* Through noon Wednesday

* slow moving thunderstorms along and near a weak cold front will
be possible today through Wednesday morning. The greatest
potential for heavy rainfall and flooding is expected to occur
tonight and early Wednesday morning.

* Rainfall amounts will average 1 to 3 inches in the watch area
with isolated higher totals.

* Flooding of low lying and urban areas... creeks... streams and
rivers will be possible.
