The Flood Warning continues for
the Village Creek missing Everman.
* At 0500 am Friday the stage was 20.30 feet.
* Flood stage is 19 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will crest between 20 and 21 feet Friday
morning before receding by midday Friday.

The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a

* Flood Warning for...
Johnson County in north central Texas...
Tarrant County in north central Texas...

* until 815 am CDT

* at 518 am CDT... local law enforcement reported widespread flooding
which occurred from previous heavy rainfall.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Most flood deaths occur in automobiles. Never drive your vehicle into
areas where the water covers the roadway. Flood waters are usually
deeper than they appear. Just one foot of flowing water is powerful
enough to sweep vehicles off the Road. When encountering flooded
roads make the smart choice... turn around... dont drown.

* Flood Warning for
the West Fork Trinity River at Grand Prairie.
* Until Sunday afternoon... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 0130 am Friday the stage was 24.99 feet.
* Flood stage is 27.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river should rise above flood stage by Friday
overnight and continue to rise to a crest near 30 feet by Friday
morning. The river should fall below flood stage by Sunday after
midnight.
* At 30 feet, moderate flooding will occur along the lowland areas of
the river.

* Flood Warning for
the Walnut Creek near Mansfield.
* Until this evening... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 0200 am Friday the stage was 20.65 feet.
* Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river should rise above flood stage overnight
and continue to rise to a crest near 27 feet by early Friday
morning. The river should fall below flood stage by midday Friday.
* At 28 feet, moderate flooding will occur along the creek through
Mansfield, downstream to Lake Joe pool.

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

Eastland... Ellis... Erath... Fannin... Grayson... Hamilton...
