... Lake Wind Advisory in effect from 6 am to 6 PM CST Monday...

The National Weather Service in Shreveport has issued a lake Wind
Advisory... which is in effect from 6 am to 6 PM CST Monday.

* Event... a tight pressure gradient will be in place Monday across
the entire four state region... behind the passage of a cold
front tonight. Northwest winds will increase to 15 to 25 mph
with gusts to 35 to 40 mph by daybreak... and persist through
much of the day before diminishing by sunset.

* Timing... from 6 am to 6 PM CST Monday.

* Impact... boaters should exercise caution on area lakes due to
rough conditions.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A lake Wind Advisory indicates that winds will cause rough chop
on area lakes. Small boats will be especially prone to capsizing.
