Dense fog will impact portions of north and central Texas this morning. If you encounter fog...reduce speed and use low beam headlights. The fog will dissipate from north to south as a cold front sweeps through the region. The cold front has crossed the Red River...with an accompanying area of rain. Through 7 am...the bulk of the rainfall will be in areas north of I-20 and west of I-35. Rainfall totals this morning will exceed 1/2 inch in some areas. Additional light rain showers will spread across the remainder of north and central Texas...with lesser amounts. Otherwise...expect light winds and mild temperatures ahead of the front. Readings behind the front will be in the 30s and 40s.
