At 1:30 am...National Weather Service radars detected numerous showers and isolated thunderstorms stretching from Fayetteville in northwest Arkansas to northern Pushmataha County in southeast Oklahoma. The precipitation is moving to the northeast at 40 mph and rainfall amounts have generally been less than one quarter of an inch. This activity was occurring along and ahead of a cold front that is pushing across eastern Oklahoma. Through 2:30 am...numerous showers and isolated thunderstorms will continue along the advancing cold front...with the best chances of rain across northwest and west central Arkansas. Additional rainfall amounts will generally be around a quarter inch.
