Nowcast | as of 8:07 PM CDT on August 30, 2015

At 8:07 PM...National Weather Service Doppler radars continued to detect a few isolated showers and thunderstorms affecting portions of eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas. A couple stronger storms were located within Wagoner and Muskogee counties. All this activity was nearly stationary. Through 9:30 PM...scattered rain showers thunderstorms will remain possible. Light to moderate rainfall can be expected from most of the activity...with less than a tenth of an inch per hour. Any stronger thunderstorms could produce brief heavy rainfall...along with hail...gusty winds...and cloud to ground lightning. Any stronger storms that remain over any location for an extended period of time could cause localized flooding.
