Nowcast | as of 8:51 PM CDT on July 6, 2015

At 8:51 PM...Doppler radars detected an area of showers and thunderstorms across northeast Oklahoma. This activity was moving southeast at around 20 mph. Through 10 PM...showers and thunderstorms will continue to spread southeast...increasing in coverage across northeast Oklahoma. Locations mainly along and to the north of a Drumright to hollow line are likely to be affected during this time. Moderate to heavy rainfall and gusty winds are likely along the leading edge of this line of storms...where hourly rainfall rates may exceed one inch and wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph are possible. Some localized flooding issues may arise due to the relatively slow movement and intense rainfall.
