At 12:30 am...National Weather Service radars indicated numerous showers and isolated thunderstorms along a line from Jay to Stigler to Wilburton. This activity was in advance of a cold front which was moving eastern Oklahoma...followed by gusty northwesterly winds and temperatures falling into the mid 40s. The precipitation is moving to the northeast at 40 mph and rainfall amounts have been less than one quarter of an inch. Through 1:30 am...numerous showers and isolated thunderstorms will continue along the advancing cold front....eventually moving into western Arkansas after 1 am. Rainfall amounts will generally be around a quarter inch. Additionally...winds will turn northwesterly with gusts up to 35 mph behind the frontal passage.
