At 12:30 am...National Weather Service Doppler radars indicated areas of drizzle ongoing over much of eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. An area of light rain was also expanding over southeast Oklahoma. Through 4:00 am...areas of light rain and patchy drizzle will expand in coverage across eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. Rain will begin to transition over to freezing rain after 4 am in those counties in northeast Oklahoma along the Kansas border as temperatures fall below freezing. The transition over to freezing rain or sleet for the Tulsa Metro area is likely between about 6 and 8 am.

midnight CST Wednesday night...

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect...

For the following counties...
* in Oklahoma... Cherokee... Adair... creek... Okfuskee... Okmulgee...
   Wagoner... Tulsa... Rogers... Mayes... Delaware... Pawnee... Ottawa...
   Washington... Osage... Craig... Nowata... Sequoyah... McIntosh and
   Muskogee. In Arkansas... Benton.

Hazardous weather...
* rain is expected to expand northeast across eastern Oklahoma
   and northwest Arkansas tonight and into tomorrow. The rain will
   transition to freezing rain... sleet... and finally snow
   beginning early Wednesday morning as cold air moves into the
   region behind a cold front. Wintry precipitation will persist
   into Wednesday night before tapering off from northwest to
   southeast.

* Up to 2 inches of snow and sleet accumulation and less than a
   tenth of an inch of ice accumulation is expected from 3 am
   Wednesday to midnight Wednesday night.

   especially on bridges and overpasses and non-treated surfaces.
