At 7:42 am...scattered showers continue across parts of northeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. Recent trends indicate a gradual decrease in coverage of this activity over northeast Oklahoma. Movement remains toward the east at around 40 mph. Through 9:00 am...scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will remain possible for locations primarily along and north of an Okemah Oklahoma to Witter Arkansas line. The greatest coverage and bulk of the precipitation during this time will be concentrated over Delaware County in northeast Oklahoma...as well as Benton and Carroll counties in far northwest Arkansas. Average hourly rainfall rates of up to one tenth of an inch will remain common. Locally higher amounts to one half inch will be possible in heavier downpours and where thunderstorms occur. Gusty winds to 35 mph will also be possible with this activity as it continues to push off to the east.
