Statement as of 3:01 PM CDT on May 29, 2015

The Flood Warning continues for
the Red River near Burkburnett.

* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.

* At 2:30 PM Friday the stage was 10.4 feet.

* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 9.0 feet.

* Forecast... the Red River will continue rising and crest near 11.4
feet mid Sunday morning.

* Impact... at 11.0 feet... crop and range lands... oil fields... and
rural roads are affected. Some low-lying areas near the river are
isolated by high water in side channels. Areas along the river near
Davidson Oklahoma begin to flood several hours before the crest
approaches the Burkburnett area. The flood crest reaches the area
along the river near Taylor Oklahoma several hours later. Cattle
and other property should be relocated to places which are 2 feet
higher than nearby river banks to avoid being stranded.

The Flood Warning continues for
the east Cache creek near Walters.

* Until Sunday morning... or until the warning is cancelled.

* At 2:30 PM Friday the stage was 23.5 feet.

* Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 21.0 feet.

* Forecast... the east Cache creek will continue rising and crest near
25.0 feet early Saturday morning. The east Cache creek will fall
below flood stage early Sunday morning.

* Impact... at 25.0 feet... valley-wide flooding of croplands...
pastures... and local roads occurs in southern Comanche County and
Cotton County and is accompanied by flood depths up to 4 feet with
swift currents.

the deep Red Creek near Randlett.

* Until Sunday evening... or until the warning is cancelled.

* At 2:45 PM Friday the stage was 22.9 feet.

* Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

* Forecast... the deep Red Creek will continue rising and crest near
23.4 feet early Saturday morning. The deep Red Creek will fall
below flood stage late Sunday afternoon.

* Impact... at 23.0 feet... valley-wide flooding of croplands...
pastures... and local roads occurs and is accompanied by flood
depths up to 3 feet with swift currents.

... Flash Flood Watch remains in effect through Saturday evening...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* all of northern... central... and southern Oklahoma... and western
North Texas.

* Through Saturday evening

* one more round of heavy rainfall is expected this evening and
overnight as a complex of storms moves across portions of
southern Oklahoma and North Texas. Additional storms are
expected to develop along and behind a cold front moving through
the area. Rainfall totals of 1 to 2 inches will be possible with
locally higher amounts... especially along and south of the Red
River.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Monitor weather forecasts and information. Make plans to get to
higher ground if flooding happens.
