... Flood Warning extended until Tuesday morning...

the Flood Warning continues for
the Canadian river near Bridgeport.

* Until Tuesday morning... or until the warning is cancelled.

* At 11:30 am Sunday the stage was 16.4 feet.

* Moderate flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.

* Forecast... the Canadian river will continue rising and crest near
19.9 feet early Monday morning. The Canadian river will fall below
flood stage early Tuesday morning.

* Impact... at 20.0 feet... flooding affects croplands... pastures...
and oil Wells near the river. Flood plain fields at higher
elevations away from the river may be cut off from easy access by
high water in side channels. Sand dredging operations are affected.
Upstream points in southern Blaine County may see flooding before
the areas near Bridgeport in northern Caddo County. Downstream
points in southwestern Canadian County are affected hours later.

the Flood Warning continues for
the Washita river at Anadarko.

* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.

* At 10:30 am Sunday the stage was 21.6 feet.

* Moderate flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 19.0 feet.

* Forecast... the Washita river will continue rising to near 24.3 feet
mid Wednesday morning then begin falling.

* Impact... at 24.0 feet... campgrounds in the Anadarko City Park and
nearby low areas are flooded. Floodwaters damage farm property and
block many rural roads along the Washita river in eastern Caddo and
western Grady counties... and could breach farm levees.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Washita river near Carnegie.

* Until late Tuesday night... or until the warning is cancelled.

* At 10:00 am Sunday the stage was 23.6 feet.

* Major flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 25.0 feet.

* Forecast... the Washita river will rise above flood stage early
Sunday afternoon and crest near 30.0 feet early Monday
afternoon.The Washita river will fall below flood stage late
Tuesday evening.

* Impact... at 30.0 feet... look for wide flood plain coverage along
the Washita River Valley in eastern Washita and western Caddo
counties. Some farm levees are overtopped hours before the time of
crest near Carnegie. More than five thousand acres of farm lands
are covered by flood depths to about 5 feet... and will be the
highest water levels observed since flood control began at Foss
dam. Local highways may be blocked... isolating some rural
communities and many farmsteads.

* Flash Flood Watch to include portions of central Oklahoma...
northern Oklahoma... northwest Oklahoma... southern Oklahoma...
southwest Oklahoma and western Oklahoma... including the
following areas... in central Oklahoma... Canadian... Cleveland...
   Grady... Kingfisher... Logan... McClain... Oklahoma and Payne. In
northern Oklahoma... Garfield... Kay and Noble. In northwest
Oklahoma... Blaine. In southern Oklahoma... Stephens. In
southwest Oklahoma... Caddo... Comanche... Cotton and Kiowa. In
western Oklahoma... Custer and Washita.

* Through Monday morning

* rainfall will redevelop with an additional 1 to 2 inches of
rainfall is possible through Monday morning. This rainfall in
