At 7:10 PM...Doppler radars detected showers and thunderstorms ongoing across eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. The stronger storms were located across extreme eastern Oklahoma into northwest Arkansas...with all activity lifting northeast at 30 to 40 mph. Through 8:45 PM...occasional showers and thunderstorms will remain possible for all of eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. The strong over far eastern Oklahoma into northwest Arkansas will remain capable of producing damaging winds...large hail and isolated tornadoes. Locally heavy rainfall will be a concern for all locations...as any heavy rains will result in rapid flash flooding. A Tornado Watch is in effect for parts of eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas through 10 PM this evening.
