The Flood Warning continues for
the Arkansas River at Van Buren.

* From late Monday night to Tuesday afternoon, or until the warning
is cancelled.

* At 8:00 am Sunday, the stage was 21.14 feet.

* Flood stage is 22.0 feet.

* Forecast... the Arkansas River at Van Buren is expected to rise to
near flood stage early Tuesday morning.

* Impact... at 22.0 feet, minor lowland flooding occurs along the
shoreline from the I-540 bridge east towards Lavaca.

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of Arkansas and Oklahoma... including the following

   Madison... Sebastian and Washington. In Oklahoma... Adair...
Cherokee... Choctaw... Craig... creek... Delaware... Haskell...
Latimer... Le Flore... Mayes... McIntosh... Muskogee... Nowata...
Okfuskee... Okmulgee... Osage... Ottawa... Pawnee... Pittsburg...

eastern Oklahoma and west central and northwest Arkansas today.
The heavy rain will continue begin to taper off tonight.
