Nowcast | as of 5:11 am CST on March 4, 2015

At 5:05 am...National Weather Service Doppler radars indicated areas of light rain spreading across eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. The rain has been increasing in both coverage and intensity during the past hour. Temperatures have dropped below freezing north of a Pawnee to Vinita line...so some light freezing rain is likely occurring there. Some light sleet was also mixed in with the rain over northwest Arkansas. Through 6:30 am...areas of light rain will continue to expand in coverage across eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. An increase in intensity of rain will occur across southeast Oklahoma as well. Rain will continue to transition over to freezing rain north of Interstate 44...including the Tulsa Metro area...as temperatures fall below freezing.
