The Flood Warning continues for
the Sabine River near Deweyville.
* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 11:45 am Sunday the stage was 24.2 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 24.3 feet by this
afternoon then begin falling.
* Impact... at stages near 24.0 feet... minor lowland flooding will
occur.

... Flash Flood Watch in effect from Monday morning through Monday
evening...

The National Weather Service in Lake Charles has issued a

* Flash Flood Watch for portions of Louisiana and Texas...
including the following areas... in Louisiana... Acadia...
Allen... Beauregard... Calcasieu... East Cameron... Evangeline...
Iberia... Jefferson Davis... Lafayette... lower St. Martin... St.
Landry... St. Mary... upper St. Martin... Vermilion and West
Cameron. In Texas... Jefferson... Orange... southern Jasper and
southern Newton.

* From Monday morning through Monday evening

* numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop
tonight over Texas and progress east across the area Monday.
Rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally
higher amounts of up to 6 inches possible

* areas that see heavy rainfall within a short time could
receive flood water to depths that would impact property and
people in those areas. Area creeks... streams and rivers are
also likely to experience rises.
