Through 4 PM...areas of rain will continue to move around a surface low located 65 miles southwest of Marsh Island...and spread across portions of southeast Texas...central and southern Louisiana. The low will move east-northeast at 15 mph across the coastal waters. Moderate to briefly heavy rainfall with occasional lightning will be found between Lake Charles to Oakdale to Ville Platte to just north of Lafayette. Rainfall rates will be between 1/2 and 1 inch per hour in these areas.
