... Blizzard Warning now in effect until 11 am akst this
morning...

* location... east of Icy Cape.

* Snow... about 1 inch.

* Blowing snow... reducing visibility to one quarter mile or less
at times.

* Winds... east winds to 30 mph with gusts to 40 mph decreasing to
25 mph with gusts to 35 mph in the afternoon.

* Timing... slight improvement in visibility is expected this
afternoon as wind speeds decrease some. Further improvement in
conditions is expected tonight.

* Impacts... visibility will be greatly reduced and snow will
accumulate into drifts. Whiteout conditions will occur. Travel
and outdoor activities will be difficult.

blowing snow with strong winds and very poor visibilities are
