At 1057 PM CDT Doppler radar indicated rain and isolated thunderstorms from 13 miles north of Chappell to Lamar...moving north at 20 mph. Locations that may be affected through 1 am CDT...midnight MDT include... Lisco...Lewellen...Oshkosh...Chappell...Big Springs...Brandon and Brule. Rain and thunderstorms will produce 1/4 to 1/2 inch of rainfall along and west of Highway 61. Otherwise...drizzle...periods of light rain and scattered showers across western and north central Nebraska will produce less than 1/10 of an inch of rainfall. All of this rain was associated with a very large upper level disturbance located across the central rockies. The storm system will move slowly north into the Dakotas by Monday and continue to produce scattered showers and thunderstorms overnight...Sunday and Monday.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Platte River at Brady North Channel.
* Until further notice.
* At 6:30 PM Saturday the stage was 8.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 7.5 feet.
* Forecast is for the river to begin falling Sunday to near 7.8 feet
by Wednesday and then rise to 8.6 feet on Friday.
* Impact... at 9.0 feet... moderate flood stage. West of Brady flooding
occurs between McCullough Road and East Island Road and Interstate
80. East of Brady flooding of agricultural land occurs near
Interstate 80. Both of the north channels may overflow.
