Winter Weather Advisory
Statement as of 3:22 AM CST on March 01, 2015

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until noon CST
today...

* timing... another round of light snow could develop and affect
the advisory area early this morning. In addition... areas of
dense freezing fog and patchy freezing drizzle will linger
through the morning hours today... mainly affecting southern
Kansas.

* Snow accumulations... will remain light and generally less than a
half inch for locations along and near the Highway 50 corridor.

* Freezing fog... along with patchy freezing drizzle could create a
light glaze on roadways and elevated surfaces across southern
Kansas.

* Main impacts... include reduced visibilities to around a quarter
of a mile at times from areas of freezing fog... and possible
slick spots on any untreated roadways.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of winter weather
will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads
and limited visibilities. Use caution while driving.
