The Flood Warning continues for
the Pottawatomie creek at Lane.
* From Monday afternoon to Tuesday afternoon.
* At 8:30 PM Sunday the stage was 20.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by Monday early afternoon and
continue to rise to near 23.5 feet by Monday evening.The river will
fall below flood stage by Monday before midnight.
* Impact... at 25.0 feet... cloud Road... also known as the Road to
Richmond floods.

the marais des cygnes river near Quenemo.
* Until Monday evening.
* At 2:00 PM Sunday the stage was 26.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
Monday morning.
* Impact... at 26.0 feet... Stubbs Road floods and is impassible. Other
area roads are also flooded.

* Until Monday evening.
* At 9:01 PM Sunday the stage was 25.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 25.9 feet by
early Monday morning. The river will fall below flood stage late
Monday morning.
* Impact... at 25.6 feet... water flows over Ohio Road north of the
creek... and fields to the south of the creek near Ohio Road flood.

* Until Tuesday evening.
* At 8:30 PM Sunday the stage was 33.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 31.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 33.3 feet by
early Monday morning. The river will fall below flood stage Tuesday
morning.
* Impacts... at 33 feet... the river approaches the base of the Main
Street bridge.

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of east central Kansas and northeast Kansas...
including the following areas... in east central Kansas...
Anderson... Coffey... Douglas... Franklin... Lyon... Osage and
Shawnee. In northeast Kansas... Jefferson.

* Through Monday morning

* periods of showers and isolated thunderstorms are forecast this
afternoon and tonight. This rainfall may be heavy enough to
cause isolated flash flooding this evening into the early
morning hours.

* Several river flood warnings continue over parts of the watch
area.

A Flash Flood Watch means that flash flooding is possible but not
