Cherokee County in southeast Kansas...
Christian County in southwest Missouri...
Dade County in southwest Missouri...
Dallas County in southwest Missouri...
Douglas County in southwest Missouri...
Greene County in southwest Missouri...
Jasper County in southwest Missouri...

Ozark County in southwest Missouri...
Polk County in southwest Missouri...
Stone County in southwest Missouri...

* At 855 am CDT... at 846 am CDT... the Department of Transportation
and river gage data indicates that flooding will continue or
remain possible over parts of southeast Kansas into parts of
southwest and south central Missouri. While the heaviest rainfall
has ended... excess runoff will continue to cause low land flooding
and the flooding of numerous low water crossings.

* Runoff from this rain is causing flooding. Creeks... streams and low
water crossings will be especially susceptible to the dangers of
flooding. The recent heavy rainfall will also cause water to flow
more swiftly than normal.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Flooding is occurring or is imminent. Most flood related deaths occur
in automobiles. Do not attempt to cross water covered bridges...
dips... or low water crossings. Never try to cross a flowing stream...
even a small one... on foot or in a vehicle.

Flooding is occurring or is imminent. It is important to know where
you are relative to streams... rivers... or creeks which can become
killers in heavy rains. Campers and hikers should avoid streams or
creeks.
