following areas... in southeast Kansas... Bourbon... Cherokee
and Crawford. In Missouri... Barry... Barton... Camden... Cedar...
Christian... Dade... Dallas... Douglas... Greene... Hickory...
Howell... Jasper... Laclede... Lawrence... McDonald... Newton...
Oregon... Ozark... Polk... Pulaski... Shannon... stone... Taney...
Texas... Vernon... Webster and Wright.

* showers and thunderstorms with heavy rainfall will impact much
of the Missouri Ozarks tonight before ending Saturday morning. This
rain will be falling on saturated or nearly saturated

* Small streams... creeks... low water crossings and area rivers
will be especially susceptible to flash flooding. Those floating
or camping on or near area rivers should be alert for rapid
rises of water levels.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should flash flood warnings be issued.

906 PM CDT Fri may 29 2015

... The Flood Advisory for heavy rain remains in effect until 1100 am
CDT Saturday for Barry... Christian... Dallas... Douglas... Greene...
Laclede... Lawrence... southern Polk... stone... Taney... Webster and
Wright counties...

At 901 PM CDT... local law enforcement officials reported that heavy
rainfall was producing minor flooding across the advisory area.
Heavy rainfall that occurred this afternoon and evening on top of
saturated ground from recent rains is causing flooding of some low
water crossings and flood prone areas. Run off from this rain will
continue through the overnight hours into Saturday morning.

Runoff from this heavy rainfall is causing minor flooding. Creeks...
streams and low water crossings will be especially susceptible to the
dangers of flooding.

This advisory includes but is not limited to the following low water
crossings...

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Do not drive your vehicle into areas where the water covers the
roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross
safely. Move to higher ground.
