Monday...

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 3 am CST
Monday.

* Timing... a combination of snow... sleet and freezing rain will
spread eastward from southeast Missouri across the remainder of
the area this morning. The precipitation will slowly come to an
end from northwest to southeast late this afternoon through
tonight.

* Snow and sleet amounts... up to 3 inches can be expected
today... with the greatest amounts likely over the Evansville
tri state and the pennyrile region of west Kentucky.

* Ice accumulations... a tenth of an inch will be common over
southeast Missouri and The Purchase area of west Kentucky.
Portions of this area may see closer to a quarter inch.
Elsewhere just a few hundredths is expected.

* Impacts... hazardous travel conditions will develop quickly
with the onset of steady precipitation this morning.
Visibilities may be reduced under a mile in the heavier snow.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
