... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 6 PM CST this
evening...

* timing... several bursts of snow and sleet are still possible
during the afternoon.

* Accumulations... additional snow and sleet accumulations should
be an inch or less.

* Winds... northwest 5 mph or less.

* Impacts... the wintry precipitation will result in hazardous
travel conditions... especially on bridges... overpasses... and
untreated roads. Parking lots and sidewalks will become
slippery as well.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning means that 6 inches or more of snow is
expected. The accumulation of snow will make travel extremely
difficult... if not impossible. If travel is necessary... make
sure to exercise caution. Begin your travel with a tank full of
gas... and carry a winter storm kit which includes a shovel...
