Shortly before 3 PM...showes...with an occasional rumble of thunder was affecting the Missouri boothill...southern Illinois and the Kentucky Purchase area. Rainfall totals have ranged from a couple hundredths up to one or two tenths of an inch where a stray thunderstorm may occur. Through 5 PM...the precipitation will continue to track northeast...affecting the communities of Benton...Mount Carmel and Shawneetown Illinois...as well as Evansville Indiana and the Kentucky communities of Marion...Madisonville...Greenville and Elkton.
