The National Weather Service in St Louis has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow... which is in effect until 6 PM CST this evening.
* Snow will start before sunrise and continue until mid morning. After the snow stops... the winds will increase causing blowing and drifting.
* Snowfall accumulations of 2 to 3 inches are expected.
* Winds of 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 30 will be possible.
* The snowfall will cause roads to become slick. Blowing and drifting later in the day could cause reduced visibility and will continue to cause slick roads.
