... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 3 am to noon CST
Tuesday...

The National Weather Service in Quad Cities has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow... sleet or light freezing rain... which is
in effect from 3 am to noon CST Tuesday.

* Timing... late tonight through Tuesday morning.

* Snow accumulations... up to 1 inch. Isolated amounts around 2
inches possible near Interstate 80 over far eastern Iowa and
northwest Illinois.

* Ice accumulations... a trace to a few hundredths of an inch. Any
ice that occurs will melt around mid day.

* Temperatures... rising into the lower 30s.

* Impacts... the sleet... snow or light freezing rain may result in
hazardous travel late tonight through the morning commute.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or
