Showers and thunderstorms will continue to develop and move
northeast through late morning... affecting areas mainly northwest
of a line from Washington... to Clinton and Stockton Illinois.
Expect several rounds of storms... with periods of heavy rain and
reduced visibility. Be prepared for ponding water on roads and
minor street flooding. The strongest storms could also produce
some pea size hail and wind gusts around 40 mph.
