The National Weather Service in Missoula has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow above 4000 feet... which is in effect
from 11 PM MST /10 PM PST/ this evening to 11 PM MST /10 PM PST/
Saturday.

* Impacts/timing: a system will be making its way across the
northern rockies later tonight through Saturday. This system
will cause widespread snow above 4000 feet. Snow showers on
Saturday could produce heavy snow over short distances creating
variable Road conditions. Snow covered roads will cause
hazardous driving conditions... especially over mountain passes.

* Snow accumulations: 3 to 6 inches above 4000 feet. 5 to 8 inches
for Lolo Pass and Lookout Pass by Saturday evening.

* Locations impacted include... Dixie... Elk City... Marias Pass...
Evaro hill... Highway 93 Sula to Lost Trail Pass... Lolo Pass...
Highway 83 Seeley Lake to Condon
