A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 8 am Monday to
8 am MST Tuesday.

* Impacts/timing: a moist weather disturbance will combine with
an Arctic air mass to produce accumulating snow on Monday.
Strong northeast winds will produce cold wind chills Monday
afternoon through Tuesday morning. This will impact travel and
Newborn livestock.

* Snow accumulations: 2 to 4 inches.

* Blowing snow: visibility quickly reduced to less than a mile
at times.

* Wind chills: 5 below zero to 15 below zero starting Monday
evening.

* Locations impacted include... bad Rock Canyon... Essex... Highway
83 Bigfork to Swan Lake... Marias Pass... Polebridge... Flathead
Lake... Flathead Valley... Mission Valley... Polson

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow means that
periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be
prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities... and
use caution while driving.

Cold wind chills will result in frost bite and lead to
hypothermia if precautions are not taken. If you must venture
outdoors... make sure you wear a hat and gloves.
