Statement as of 3:44 AM MDT on April 26, 2015

... Winter Weather Advisory in effect until 6 PM MDT this evening
for elevations above 6000 feet...

The National Weather Service in Great Falls has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for elevations above 6000 feet for snow... which
is in effect until 6 PM MDT this evening.

* Timing and main impact: accumulating snow will spread east
across the mountains of southwest Montana through this
morning... and continue through most of the day. Light
accumulating slushy snow will make travel difficult... especially
over mountain passes. A mix of rain and snow with less
accumulation is expected in the valleys. Precipitation will
gradually decrease from the west beginning this afternoon.

* Snow accumulations: above 6000 feet... a total of 2 to 4 inches
is mostly expected... but up to 7 inches are possible on some
peaks. Below 6000 feet... up to 2 inches are possible.

* Elevations: for elevations above 6000 feet.

* Other impacts: wet snow could cause damage to some trees.
Isolated power outages are also possible.

* Locations affected include: Big Hole Pass... Monida Pass...
Raynolds Pass... Bozeman Pass... Norris Hill... Targhee Pass...
West Yellowstone.
