The month of November was the second warmest on record in International Falls with an average monthly temperature of 34.3 degrees which was 9.9 degrees above normal. Only November 2001 was warmer with an average monthly temperature of 36.9 degrees. In addition... there were 19 days with a maximium temperature of at least 40 degrees... the second most for the month of November... followed only by the 21 days recorded in 2001.
The month of November was the third warmest on record in Duluth with an average monthly temperature of 37.9 degrees which was 9.9 degrees above normal. Only November 1899 and November 2001 was warmer with an average monthly temperature of 40.6 degrees and 39.5 degrees respectively. In addition... there were 26 days with a maximium temperature of at least 40 degrees tying the record set in November 1899.
